Remington Run Cabin, located in Morgan County Ohio is a beautiful little cabin that sleeps 4. It has a bedroom (full bed), living room, kitchen, and bathroom on the first floor. There is also a loft with a queen bed. Plenty of hunting and fishing opportunities, as there are thousands of acres of public land available. Jesse Owens State Park, Burr Oak State Park, Wolf Creek Wildlife Area, and The Muskingum River Parkway State Park are all located in Morgan County. A great getaway.

Stone-Matheney Funeral Home
In July of 1941, Don E. Stone of Middletown, Ohio, purchased the funeral business and the residence of George Fawcett, Chesterhill, Ohio. In 1944, Don purchased the former Jesse Wood home and grocery store building. After remodeling the grocery store rooms, he opened and operated a furniture store. He then remodeled the residential part of the building into two rental apartments. In 1946, he remodeled that part of the building again so that it could be used as a Funeral Home. At this time he moved the funeral business from his residence to its present location.

Windy 9’s Triple Nickel (Route 555)
Every year, hundreds of thrill seekers travel through Chesterhill along Ohio’s Windy 9’s Triple Nickel (Route 555) and Highway 377 to enjoy the scenic views.

Produce Auction
The village is also known for the Chesterhill Produce Auction, located just outside the village. At this auction, fresh local produce, hand-made wood products, and small livestock can be purchased during their seasonal weekly auctions.

Buckeye Trail Hike
The village offers opportunities to hike the Buckeye Trail and visit the eight woodland acres of the Historic Henman Cave Park.

Amish goods
Visitors can take a drive down Goshen Run, a backroad, and experience what is known as The Old-World Amish area, where Amish buggies are a familiar sight, and welcoming signs advertise Amish goods for purchase.
